Technical/Functional Skills
• Overall 8 + years of experience
• Knowledge of SharePoint 2013 on the infrastructure and administration aspects.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience administering and supporting SharePoint deployments, preferably in a larger network supporting more than 50 users.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 administration, preferably in a larger network supporting more than 50 users.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, Kerberos and VMWare virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server 2008/2012. Hands-on DBA experience is a plus.

• Work with workflows and DVWP/LVWPs via SharePoint Designer.

• Ensure all database servers are backed up in a way that meets the business’s Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
• Test backups to ensure we can meet the business’ Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
• Troubleshoot SQL Server service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends.
• Configure SQL Server monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms.
• Hands on knowledge on SQL Server AlwaysON, clustering, log shipping, mirroring and other related technologies.
• Install and configure new SQL Servers.
• When performance issues arise, determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changes.
• Finding DMV queries to answer questions about server-level performance.
• Tuning T-SQL queries to improve performance.
